Independent Consulting Services

PD offers competent and efficient consulting services for investments and modernization projects. Our shareholders can selectively assign individual services from the PD portfolio in each project phase in a targeted and cost-transparent manner, making the contracting process straightforward and direct.

In this context, this process is referred to as in-house contracting. The legal basis for this is Section 108 paragraph 4 of the Competition Act (Gesetz gegen Wettbewerbsbeschränkungen, GWB).

PD provides independent consulting services because it is exclusively obliged to its contracting authority. An unbiased approach, problem-oriented solutions and transparent decision-making processes are our standard practice.

Prerequisites for Joining

Currently, PD shares are held by the federal government, several federal states, municipalities, public institutions, and other bodies in Germany and abroad qualifying as public contracting authorities.

Because the number of shares is limited and demand regularly exceeds availability, PD conducts an internal selection process to determine new shareholders.

Interested parties can become PD shareholders either directly or indirectly through a shareholders’ association (subject to the internal selection procedure). Currently, our shareholders’ associations represent university hospitals and municipal clinics, and both are open to additional members.
